If you are looking to have some fun with your dog and learn the amazing sport of dog agility in a relaxed environment close to Basingstoke then Spring into Action Agility Club is definitely the right place to come! It is a growing friendly club with a superbly equipped secure agility field on a private estate just 5 minutes from Basingstoke town centre.
Although the Club was only established in June 2016 it has grown very rapidly and now has 90 dogs attending regular classes or 121 sessions. While the vast majority of dogs just come to some fun with their owners once a week, we also train many dogs who are lucky enough to get extra fun by competing at agility shows.
All dogs coming to the club are treated as individuals and are encouraged to progress at their own rate with the main emphasis being on growing their confidence, running fast, learning new skills and having fun.
Classes all have a maximum of 6 dogs in the class
Daytime classes are held all year round on weekdays (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).
For those who have other commitments during the day we run evening classes between April and September and weekend classes over the Autumn/Winter months.
Classes are open to all fit and healthy dogs (who have shown no signs of aggression towards people or other dogs) from the age of 6 months onwards.
The Club is lucky to have a choice of training on grass (which is usually lovely in the Summer months) or on our purpose-built all-weather outdoor arena which has an amazingly well-drained sand/fabric surface which is fabulous for people and dogs!
We have a full set of KC specification agility equipment with top quality aluminium/rubber contacts, both competition and channel weaves, and no fewer than six tunnels.
